Delays are building on the M25 on Sunday (February 12) due to lane closures while repairs take place. Two lanes are shut at Junction 15, the M4 interchange while repairs are carried out on a bridge joint.
A National Highways spokesperson said: "Lanes 1 and 2 remain closed on the M25 clockwise within J15 (M4) to repair an infrastructure defect. There are currently delays of 30 mins above normal travel time with 5 miles of congestion on approach. Please allow extra journey time."
Inrix, the traffic data company, said: "Long delays, queueing traffic for six miles and two lanes closed due to emergency bridge repairs on M25 clockwise between J14 A3113 Airport Way ( Heathrow ) and J15 M4. Congestion to before J13 (Staines). Travel time is around 50 minutes. Repairs on a bridge joint."
