I see the site for long established motor factors and DIY store is up for sale in Lower Road. Quite a large site so are we to expect more delightful Shanly "affordable" housing I wonder....get at least 10 houses in there.

How sad, they have been there for ages. I assume they will need change of use if Shanly wants houses, although I am sure that will not deter them.

Agreed it is a shame. Not the cheapest for spares but so handy. Maybe someone will keep it going but suspect not.
