There is a new ANPR system at the Parade car park opposite Pizza Dreams for monitoring parking. There is 1hr 45 only parking allowed. There are recognition cameras  monitoring cars entering and leaving the car park, one on top of Vanilla hairdresser and the other on top of Malik’s express.

There seems to be a problem, if you go in the normal entrance then leave by the exit by the train station it assumes you are still there, so if you come back later it seems to think you have been there for a long time not just minutes.

Daran Jones is contacting PCM who manage the car park at the Parade about the parking tickets people are getting erroneously.

I assume there must be some concession for residents and employees who park behind the parade of shops.

I was wondering that. I assume so, but if they go through the cameras they will be clocked in. Perhaps there is a facility to ignore certain registration plates.
