I have received this request from Sgt Ryan Powell, from our ‘Problem Solving’ Team:
can you please add to your next TV Alert that we now have a permanent knife / sharps ‘Amnesty Bin’ in Maidenhead Police Station reception area.
It is for any members of the public, to dispose of any potential weapons they no longer wish to possess, come across, or otherwise wish to dispose of safely.
No questions will be asked, to encourage as many forfeitures as possible. All surrendered knives, will be recycled into community projects.
PS Ryan Powell
