FIRST:  Another disabled parking scam - this time in the High Street.  A visually impaired driver approached the road with the new parking meters.  A man came up saying he was one of the new parking attendants and the aggrieved needed to pay using his bank card.  He guided the aggrieved to the machine and asked him to insert his bank card.  After doing that, he fake attendant told him that he had to say his PIN number to the machine.  He then said it had not worked and that his card had been retained.  Did he have another card ?  The aggrieved gave him a second card and spoke his PIN number to the machine.  The fake attendant, then said that card had also been retained..  Would he mind waiting there for 30 minutes, until the next attendant arrived, who would be able to retrieve the cards.

The fake attendant then retrieved the cards and made several attempts to make withdrawals, but they were declined.

Please be on your guard - this is the second disabled driver targeted by a parking scam.

Hi

Just had a recorded message saying there has been an unauthorised withdrawal of £600 from my Mastercard account and to counteract this - please press One.

New one on me, but I guess quite common.
