Long stretches of the M4 will only have one lane running as roadworks continue while drivers self isolate.

There is still plenty of planned roadwork that is scheduled to take place.

Much of this will occur overnight from 8pm to 6am.

There will also be slip road closures in place at junctions, meaning drivers will have to follow signed diversions.

The  M4  runs through the whole of Berkshire, from the county border at Lambourn to  Heathrow Airport  .

All the major towns have junctions.

Junction 14 serves  Hungerford  , 13 serves  Newbury  , 11 serves Reading, Berkshire, 10  Wokingham  and  Bracknell  , 8/9 serves  Maidenhead  , 7 serves  Windsor  and junction 6 serves  Slough  .

There are also works on the A329M and the A34.

Junction 13 for Newbury and 11 for Reading

Two lanes will be closed on the M4 eastbound between junctions 13 and 11 from 8pm on Friday, March 27 to 6am on Saturday, March 28.

Junction 11 for Reading

The M4 eastbound entry slip at junction 11 will be fully closed from 8pm on Monday, March 23 to 6am on Tuesday, March 24.

Expect disruption here nightly between 8pm and 6am from 30 March 2020 to 1 April 2020.
