If you have an allotment query contact the Parish Council 01628 522003.  At the moment it is best to use email as we have reduced our time in the office, but do have access to email at home. office@cookhamparishcouncil.org.uk

We have been forwarded the attached via a Clerk Colleague https://www.gardenersworld.com/how-to/grow-plants/coronavirus-can-i-still-go-to-the-allotment/  which does have some useful advice.

This advice is subject to change at any time of course.

Although I see it as a way of exercising and a source of food production that doesn’t involve visiting a shop, our Tenants MUST still follow Social Distancing advise, extreme care should be taken to avoid touching communal items, like gates and taps, and if they see that the carpark is busy or full then stay away and try another time.  I don’t think it would be acceptable for Tenants to spend all day at the allotment, but shorter visits are acceptable at this time.

People should follow the Government advice to protect themselves and others.
