The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Berkshire has risen by 14 over the past 24 hours, according to figures from Public Health England released today (March 29).

There are now 230 cases across the county - up from 216 recorded yesterday.

This includes 19 in Bracknell Forest, 27 in Reading, and 48 in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

Berkshire coronavirus live: Lockdown continues, 1,228 people have now died and Berkshire cases total 230
A total of 40 cases have now been recorded in West Berkshire, as well as 73 in Slough and 23 in Wokingham.

Across the UK, 1,228 people have now died after testing positive for Covid-19 - an increase of 209 on yesterday (March 28).

More than 120,000 coronavirus tests have taken place, and there are now 19,522 confirmed patients throughout the country.
