From someone in Bourne End

I live in a house in Bourne End on the river between Marlow and Cookham. During the last few weeks when the EA website states clearly NO use of the river there are still a large number of boats ignoring the edict. During the Easter weekend when it was very sunny one particular boat passed my house every day and on the Saturday TWICE. When I am outside I very politely and non confrontationally wave and when I get the owners attention check if they were aware of the EA instructions. Most are polite and say they were not aware (unlikely but possible) a few tell me I am entirely wrong and one basically told me to mind my own business. The fact that over the Easter weekend there were only a handful of boats instead of thousands should have alerted any boater to an issue.
