The number of coronavirus cases in Berkshire has risen to more than 2,020 according to figures released by Public Health England today (May 2).
Nationwide, 182,260 people have now tested positive for Covid-19 and 28,131 have tragically died.
This represents an increase of 4,806 and 621 respectively over the past 24 hours.
In Berkshire, there are now 2,020 lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus.
Reading, Berkshire, has the highest number of recorded cases in the county, with 480 patients testing positive.
Elsewhere, 319 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in West Berkshire, 370 in Wokingham, 253 in Windsor and Maidenhead, and 214 in Bracknell.
