The latest government figures have shown that a total of 33,186 patients have died in hospital after testing positive for coronavirus in the UK, as of 5pm on Wednesday.
The government has also announced that in the previous 24 hours, there were 3,242 new cases and 494 deaths.
Here are the latest figures locally.
In Slough, there are now a total of 436 confirmed cases and in Windsor and Maidenhead there are 275 confirmed cases.
This comes after Covid-19 claimed the life of a much loved taxi driver and member of the Sikh community - leaving his family, friends and work colleagues devastated.
The number of COVID-19 deaths at Berkshire NHS trust hospitals has risen to 485.
The latest figures released on Wednesday (May 13) reveal there have been a further three deaths recorded at trusts which operate Berkshire hospitals over the past 24 hours.The number of confirmed cases in Berkshire now stands at 2,257, as of 4pm on Wednesday (May 13).
Reading has the highest number of recorded cases in the county, with 545 patients testing positive. Slough now has 436 cases - the second highest.
Elsewhere, 346 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in West Berkshire, 419 in Wokingham, 275 in Windsor and Maidenhead, and 234 in Bracknell.
