Three new Covid-19-related deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours at trusts operating in Berkshire as of Wednesday (June 3).

The three deaths have been confirmed under Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Four new cases, where people have tested positive for coronavirus, have also been reported across Berkshire, according to latest figures from NHS England.

There has been two more confirmed cases in Reading and, one in Wokingham and the other in Bracknell.

As of today, Reading still has the highest number of cases in Berkshire, with 587 patients testing positive.

Slough is in second place with 454 cases.

In other parts of the county, 379 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in West Berkshire, 448 in Wokingham, 292 in Windsor and Maidenhead, and 258 in Bracknell.

Across the UK, there has now been 279,856 confirmed cases and 39,728 Covid-19 associated deaths.

The latest figures in Berkshire

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust  – 346 (one new deaths reported)
Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust  – 176 (one new deaths reported)
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust  - 19 (one new deaths reported)
