There has been another increase in deaths related to coronavirus in hospital trusts operating in and around Berkshire.

Five people have died in the past 24 hours taking the overall figure to 549 since the start of the pandemic, according to NHS England figures released on Sunday, June 7, afternoon.

UK-wide deaths related to Covid-19 now stands at 40,542, up 77 in 24 hours. There have been 286,194 confirmed cases across the country.
For a breakdown of patient deaths recorded in trusts operating in and around Berkshire, please see below.

The latest figures in Berkshire

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust – 353 (four new deaths reported)
Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust – 177 (one new death reported)
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust - 19 (no new deaths reported)
It is important to note that Frimley Health runs sites outside of Berkshire, for example Frimley Hospital in Surrey, so it is hard to get an accurate figure for the exact amount of deaths in Berkshire alone.
