There have been no new coronavirus deaths reported in Berkshire according to NHS England figures released today (June 22).

UK-wide deaths related to Covid-19 now stand at 42,647.


A further 20 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 28,338.

Patients were aged between 55 and 98 years old. All patients had underlying health conditions.

Their families have been informed.

Cases in the county where people have tested positive for coronavirus stand at 2,473.

Reading still has the highest number of cases in Berkshire, with 595 patients testing positive.

Slough has 465 positive cases, while Bracknell 's figure remains at 264.

West Berkshire's cases stay the same at 384, while Wokingham's remain at 458.

To date, 307 people have tested positive in Windsor and Maidenhead.


There has been no new deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, with a breakdown of those figures in the trusts below.

The latest figures in Berkshire

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust – 360
Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust – 186
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust - 20
It is important to note that Frimley Health runs sites outside of Berkshire, for example Frimley Hospital in Surrey, so it is hard to get an accurate figure for the exact amount of deaths in Berkshire alone.

The current total across the three Trusts is 565.
