There are 14 new coronavirus cases in Berkshire, this evening, according to figures released today (July 4).

UK-wide deaths related to Covid-19 now stand at 44,198, an increase of 67.

Confirmed cases across the country now stands at 284,900, with 624 confirmed in the last 24 hours.

Cases in the county where people have tested positive for coronavirus are now at 3,234  as of Friday (July 3) at 5pm.

Reading still has the highest number of cases in Berkshire, with 767 (up three) patients testing positive.

Slough now has a total of 634 (up seven) positive cases, while Bracknell 's figure is now 375 (up one).

West Berkshire's positive case total is 472 (up one), while Wokingham's is 587 (up three).

To date, 399 (no change) people have tested positive in Windsor and Maidenhead.

There have been no additional deaths across the trusts.
Data released each day represents the number of deaths recorded in this time period, not those that have actually happened in that time.

The latest figures in Berkshire

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust – 362
Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust – 186
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust - 20
It is important to note Frimley Health runs sites outside of Berkshire, for example Frimley Hospital in Surrey, so it is hard to get an accurate figure for the exact amount of deaths in Berkshire alone.

From July 2, 2020, Pillar 2 data has been reported separately by all 4 Nations. Pillar 2 data for England has had duplicate tests for the same person removed by PHE from July 2, 2020.

This means that the cumulative total number of UK lab-confirmed cases is now around 30,000 lower than reported on July 1, 2020. Information about the different pillars is available on GOV.UK.
