How Berkshire NHS trust's coronavirus deaths compare to the rest of England

Tens of thousands of people have lost their lives to coronavirus in the UK in the past four months.

In Berkshire, the death toll currently stands at 570, with the most recent fatality recorded at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Wexham Park Hospital in Slough, on July 15.

Frimley Health, which also operates hospitals in Surrey, is the worst-hit of the county's three NHS trusts, recording 364 deaths from Covid-19 up to July 21.

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Reading's Royal Berkshire Hospital, had a death toll of 186 while, for Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Prospect Park Hospital, the figure is 20.

But how do Berkshire's trusts compare to other hospitals in England?

Out of the 220 NHS Trusts in England, Frimley Health is placed at 17th for the highest number of patient deaths.
