There are slip road closures this weekend from approximately 8pm this evening until Monday morning, 10 August:
Junction 7 – the westbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed for preparation work before the opening of the new Huntercombe Spur bridge and removal of the temporary structure next weekend.
Junction 12 – the eastbound entry slip road will also be closed for construction work. The M4 eastbound and westbound carriageways will be unaffected by these closures.
There are weekend closures (in both directions unless otherwise noted) on a regular basis throughout the year and the schedule for this summer is as follows:
14-17 August 2020: full weekend closure between junctions 6 and 8/9
21-24 August 2020: full weekend closure between junctions 6 and 8/9
