The number of coronavirus cases recorded in Berkshire has risen by seven in the past 24 hours, according to figures released by Public Health England today (8 August)
Across the UK, the death toll stands at 46,566 and 309,763 people have now tested positive for Covid-19.
This represents an increase of 55 and 758 respectively over the same time period.
In Berkshire, the total number of cases is currently 3,429 following an increase of seven.
The largest number of cases have been recorded in Slough - where there was a rise of four.
An increase of four was also recorded in Windsor and Maidenhead.
Reading, Berkshire, recorded a fall of one, reporting 807 when yesterday (August 7) the area's total stood at 808.
According to the Department of Health, its data is 'constantly being reviewed and corrected'
Cumulative counts can occasionally go down from one day to the next, which can include previously recorded cases which have been discounted.
No new deaths have been reported and the total remains at 572 across Berkshire NHS trusts.

The Government also said that in the 24-hour period up to 9am on Saturday, there had been a further 758 lab-confirmed cases. Overall, a total of 309,763 cases have been confirmed.
