Maria Wicks, who is 56-years-old, was last seen at a care home in Henley Road, Hurley, Maidenhead, at approximately 2.30pm today.

We are extremely concerned for Maria's welfare.

Maria is a white woman, of medium build with grey shoulder length hair, which is possibly tied in a pony-tail, and a short fringe.

She was last seen wearing grey leggings, dark trainers with a white sole, and a navy blue jumper with white writing on the front.

She was also wearing a dark-coloured rain coat.

Inspector Leigh Knight, based at Slough police station, said: “We are very concerned for Maria’s welfare as she requires care due to a historic injury, and has left the place where she normally resides without telling anybody where she was going.

“I am appealing to anybody who knows of Maria’s whereabouts to please contact 101, quoting reference number 43200308133.

“If you see her, please call 999 immediately, as we need to ensure her welfare.”
