Two more people have died and a further 41 cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Berkshire, latest figures show (September 30).

The latest fatalities were both at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust on September 28, and take the number of deaths at NHS trusts in and around Berkshire to 583.

Across the UK, the number of people who have died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 has risen by 71, making a new total of 42,143.

Another 7,108 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed UK-wide, bringing the total to 453,264.

This is how the figures break down in terms of cases for each area of Berkshire as of September 30:

The total number of deaths at NHS trusts in and around Berkshire is now 581, as detailed below:

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust: 370
Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust: 193 (increase of two)
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust: 20

Reading : 974 cases (increase of six)
Slough : 978 cases ( increase of 14)
Wokingham : 745 cases (increase of five)
West Berkshire : 611 cases (increase of seven)
Windsor and Maidenhead: 673 cases (increase of six)
Bracknell Forest : 513 cases ( increase of three )
