For a number of weeks, coronavirus cases in Berkshire and across the country have been surging.

In a bid to try and reduce the spread and ease the burden on the NHS nation went into a fresh lockdown last week.

Some areas of Berkshire have spiralling coronavirus cases that sit above the national average.

The worst hit area in the county, is Cippenham Meadows in Slough, with an infection rate of 318.2 per 100,000 people.

Infection rates are also high in parts of Maidenhead and areas of South Reading.

By contrast, some areas have few to no active coronavirus cases, including an area of Newbury, parts of Twyford and Wargrave and Dedworth in Windsor.

The Government has published extensive data since the pandemic began in March. Using data from the Government's coronavirus dashboard, you can see which neighbourhoods have the most coronavirus cases.

These neighbourhoods are statistically known as Middle Layer Super Output Areas (MSOA), with roughly 7,200 people living in each one.

Below, you can find the list of every neighbourhood (MSOA) in Berkshire and the number of new COVID-19 cases recorded in the week up to November 3, and the rate of infection expressed per 100,000 people.

Areas with fewer than three cases are not recorded.
