M4 Closure
«
on:
November 20, 2020, 03:02:06 PM »
A busy stretch of the M4 motorway in Berkshire will be closed this weekend as work on turning it into a smart motorway continues.
Both the northbound and southbound carriageway will be shut between Junction 6 (Slough/Windsor) and Junctions 8/9 (Maidenhead) to allow surfacing work to take place.
The motorway will close to traffic after 8pm on Friday (November 20) and reopen by 6am on Monday (November 23).
Further closures are due along the motorway over the next three weekends in the run up to Christmas.
