A TOTAL of 190 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Berkshire in the past 24 hours, figures show.
Public Health England has recorded 190 lab-confirmed cases in the past 24 hours in areas including Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham, West Berkshire, Slough and Windsor and Maidenhead.
Matt Hancock says everyone will receive Covid-19 vaccine.
These figures are correct as of Wednesday, December 2.
The local breakdown for the past 24 hours as follows:
Reading - 37 cases, 2,769 total
West Berkshire - 11 cases, 1,689 total
Bracknell Forest - 34 cases, 1,492 total
Windsor and Maidenhead - 18 cases, 2,429 total
There have now been 1,659,256 people across the UK who have tested positive for Covid-19.
The total number of deaths - those with Covid-19 listed on their death certificate - across the UK has now reached 69,752.
Locally, there were three deaths in Berkshire in the past 24 hours.
One in Reading, Slough and Windsor and Maidenhead.
The local seven-day rate of infection per 100,000 people is as per below:
Reading - 129.8
West Berkshire - 51.1
Bracknell Forest - 84
Wokingham - 108.7
Slough - 304.9
Windsor and Maidenhead -110.9

A Covid-19 vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech has been approved by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for use in the UK, paving the way for mass vaccination to start.
Officials said the vaccine will be made available "from next week".

A Covid-19 vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech has been approved by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for use in the UK, paving the way for mass vaccination to start.

A Department of Health and Social Care spokesman said: "The Government has today accepted the recommendation from the independent Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to approve Pfizer/BioNTech's Covid-19 vaccine for use.
"This follows months of rigorous clinical trials and a thorough analysis of the data by experts at the MHRA who have concluded that the vaccine has met its strict standards of safety, quality and effectiveness."
