Our next Zoom talk is on Thursday 14th January 2021 at 8pm:

Salt in Prehistoric and Roman Britain
by Dr Janice Kinory, School of Archaeology, Oxford University.

Long before refrigerators were invented salt was used to preserve food, but it can do much more. You can learn how important it was in ancient Britain when Dr Janice Kinory presents her Zoom lecture at 8pm on 14 January 2021. Find out where British salt came from, how it was produced and how an archaeologist researches a substance that’s invisible in the archaeological record.

Ticket Source is open for booking on our website: Please go to: https://www.marlowarchaeology.org/booking.php

Booking for our February 11th talk, 'The Banjo's Back in Town': five seasons at Steane Park, Brackley,
by Dr Wendy Morrison FSA, Director at Great Ouse Ancient Landscapes, will open on 1st January.
