Here is some info for tomorrow. The churchyard at HolY Trinity Church, Cookham is bedecked with yellow ribbons and is looking rather splendid in the sunshine. There are special postcards to collect from the church porch and Foodshare box. YouTube goes live at 11.00am - Troubled Water: A Musical Meditation for the National Day of Reflection: https://youtu.be/jKj4_RsHYJY and the church bells will toll at 1200 for a moment of reflection (see below).
Troubled Water: A Musical Meditation for the National Day of Reflection 2021
On 23rd March 2021, one year after we first received the 'Stay at Home' instruction, we come together to reflect on our collective loss.
Organised by Marie Curie, the National Day of Reflection looks to reflect on our collective loss, support those who've been bereaved, and hope for a brighter future.
A Moment of Silence...
The church bells will toll at 12 noon and
www.mariecurie.org.uk invite you to take some time and space to think about the last year, reflect and remember those who've lost their lives.
Shine a Light at 8.00pm
At 8.00pm we'll hold a minute's silence and come together to light up the night. Stand outside with a light – a candle, a torch, even your phone - to remember someone who's died and show your support to people going through a bereavement. Alternatively, you can shine a light in your window for everyone to see.
Share what you do on social media using #DayOfReflection.
