The Conservatives have again broken promises of offering free parking for shoppers in the two main car parks in Maidenhead
Residents have contacted us regarding the very poor replacement to the resident parking discount scheme
The scheme currently proposed will only apply to 3 Maidenhead car parks - Grove Road, West Street and Boulters Car park - NOT the Nicholson's or Hinds Meadow car parks, the main shopper's car parks. It will also be via a complicated system using Ringo where you have to register ahead for the car parks that you would like the discount for.
We feel this is a very poor replacement for the old Advantage Card scheme which gave residents such a good discount as a reward for using their town centre rather than travelling elsewhere.
Thank you again to all the residents who have supported our campaign - we will continue to campaign for improvements to the scheme.
