Budget Consultation
With just over a week to go until our Budget Consultation closes on 31 Jan – if you haven’t already - take part & have your say.
Council budgets may seem dull but they’re crucial to everything a council does. They set out how we’ll use the available resources to provide the services you want and need.
This consultation is your opportunity to influence the council. It’s open to anyone who lives and/or works in the Royal Borough.
Your feedback will help inform discussions when the draft budget is debated at Full Council on 22 February.
To take part, visit Budget 2022/23 Consultation | RBWM Together
https://rbwmtogether.rbwm.gov.uk/budget-consultation Our borough libraries also have paper copies if needed.
NEXT: Bird flu survey
Bird flu has been found locally so Defra has set up a 3km disease control zone around The Thames at Eton.
If you live within this zone
https://bit.ly/3tBtzgR & keep captive birds – in your home, garden, dovecote, allotment, smallholding or farm – please take part in this survey
https://bit.ly/3KbbZWX by 28 Jan.
Birds include chickens, ducks, geese, game birds, aviary & caged birds, & racing or fancy pigeons.
Defra will use the survey feedback to advise bird keepers at higher risk to check the disease is under control.
