Homes for Wildlife showcase event at Braywick Nature Centre

Sadly our Build a Birdbox workshops have been cancelled for the past two years due to covid. To make up for it, please come along to this FREE EVENT FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN on Saturday 19th March from 10am-12.30pm (drop in at any time). Help garden birds, swifts, bees, hedgehogs, owls and bats by giving them a home. Come to the Homes for Wildlife showcase event at Braywick Nature Centre to see and buy affordable wildlife nestboxes made locally by volunteers from Bisham Nest Box Group. The event is great for children as there's a box-making activity (lots of hammering!) and there will also be nest box kits available. Maidenhead Veg Growers will be running a wildflower seed table, for you to donate any spare wildflower seeds you have, exchange them or pick up free seeds. Plenty of parking and bike racks at the Centre, which is left down Hibbert Road, the first left turn after the new sports centre. There will also be homemade cakes! Having a wildlife home gives you an extra tick in the Wild About Gardens Awards scheme as well!
